Katherin Elizabeth Hudson dikenal dengan nama panggung {Katy Perry}, Lahir 25 Ocktober Di Santa Barbara California USA.  Katy adalah perempuan penyanyi america ( Pop, Rock ).Katy juga seorang Penulis lagu, Musisi, Penari, Artis, Model. Katy adalah Superstar.

Pada awalnya katy hanya bernyanyi di gereja dengan menyanyikan lagu gospel.

Perry menandatangani kontrak dengan "Columbia Record" pada tahun 2004. Katy dipasangkan dengan tim "The Matrix" untuk menjadi vokalis wanita dalam suatu album. Dia menarik perhatian Perss Musik. KArir musiknya berkembang menjadikan dia sebagai " The Next Big Thing ". Katy memulai rekaman'nya sendiri, 80% selesai dibuat namun Columbia memutuskan untuk menyelesaikan dan mencabut labelnya.
Flom menjadi bertam,bah, yakin bahwa katy bisa menjadi bintang baru, dan pada awal 2007 diskusi panjang dengan Columbia menghasilkan Penandatanganan Katy Perry dengan " Capitol Music Group ".
Katy memiliki Single utama album yang resmi, dirilis pada 6 mei 2008. One Of The Boys dirilis pada 17 juni 2008 dengan berbagai tijauan kritik. Katy merilis single kedua Hot N Cold, yang menempati posisi puncak tangga lagu. Pada bulan januari 2009 " I Kissed a Girl" memperoleh nominasi untuk penampilan Vokal Pop Wanita Terbaik pada "Grammy Awards 2009". Termasuk memenangkan Best New Ack di "MTV Europe Music Awards". Katy muncul sebagai juri tamu bersama Simon Cowell, pada seri ketuju dari acara telivisi inggris, "The X Factor" Album kedua  Katy berjudul "Teenage Dream" Single pertama dari album ini California Girl, Single kedua Teenage Dream, dan Single ketiga Firework.
